Over twenty years running, this Agro Caleno festival in Piazza Alcide De Gasperi digs into the area's oldest recipes — bean-and-vegetable pettole e fagioli, soffritto, hand-shaped guanti pastries made by local women during the event, and the sweet, nut-and-honey pizza figliata. Organized by Insieme per l'Unità dei Popoli APS, proceeds from the festival fund the association's solidarity projects in Africa and support Don Luigi Merola's foundation 'A voce de' creature,' which works with at-risk children in Naples.
