Torrioni is barely more than a single piazza and a scatter of stone houses, but for three nights every July it becomes one of Irpinia's most heartfelt food festivals. Fusilli are still rolled by hand on a wooden board with a knitting needle — a technique passed down through generations of Torrionesi women — and served alongside porchetta and glasses of Greco di Tufo, while the town's patron saints are honoured with music and a candlelit procession.
