Every listing on this site is checked before it is published, and the result is shown on the page.
We look for the festival’s organizer (usually a Pro Loco, a Comune or an association), its dates for 2026, its location and what is actually served. We use the organizer’s own website or social pages, the municipality or Pro Loco, regional tourism pages and local press, and we keep the sources for each listing.
✅ Verified 2026 — the organizer and the 2026 dates are confirmed from official or multiple independent sources. 🟡 Partially verified — the festival is real but some details, usually the dates, come from an earlier edition or a single source. 🟡 Waiting for 2026 dates — the festival exists but the 2026 dates are not announced yet, or we could not confirm that the event is held. ⚪ Not yet verified — we have not checked it.
Sagre are small and dates change. Each page shows when it was last checked. If an edition has ended, the page says so. If a festival is not held in a given year, or we cannot confirm it exists as a dedicated event, we say that instead of showing a confident date.
Photos come from Wikimedia Commons and similar open sources, with the credit shown on the page. A photo may illustrate the food rather than the exact festival.
If you organize a festival or spot a mistake, write to info@foodfestivalsinitaly.com and we will check and update the page.
