Running since 2008, this festival inside the Riserva Naturale delle Saline di Trapani e Paceco pairs two Slow Food Presidia grown side by side on the salt flats — the red garlic of Nubia and hand-harvested sea salt. At sunset, visitors can watch salt collected the traditional way, accompanied by the salt-workers' own 'canti dei salinai,' alongside cooking shows, garlic-braiding demonstrations, and a gastronomic village at the Museo del Sale.
