The 29th Keschtniglwochen turn Feldthurns, near Brixen, into a chestnut destination for three weeks. Guided Törggelen hikes lead through the chestnut groves, with roasting, tastings and traditional farm-kitchen chestnut dishes served in the local Buschenschänke. The programme opens on 17 October with a Törggele market and closes with the Niglmarkt on 7 November and the Keschtnigl-Sunntig chestnut festival on 8 November.
