The Keschtnriggl is the chestnut festival of Lana, Völlan, Tisens and Prissian above the Adige valley near Merano. Local restaurants offer chestnut menus and Törggelen feasts, with guided hikes through chestnut groves, roasting in front of the tourist office, chestnut cooking courses and wine tastings. The tourist office lists the period as 15 October to 8 November 2026, while the programme page shows events running to mid-November, so check individual dates.
